While most deck construction companies are shutting down for the winter months, Woodridge Deck & Gazebo Co. is gearing up for a busy winter season. The harsher conditions and the shorter days slow things down a bit, but it's nice to have the project completed before the first warm days arrive. Many customers will decide to look into contractors for their project in early Spring, only to find that most companies have a backlog of several months.
Winter is the best time to get the process started on a new deck or gazebo. Or, even have your project completed, to ensure it is ready for Spring or early Summer.
We use Hydronic Heaters to not only thaw out the frozen ground but to warm the ground and concrete when pouring the support piers. This system is similar to what is used for a heated driveway or garage floor but reversed to push the heat into the ground.
We also use tents and heaters that are large enough to store 20' deck boards on sawhorses to warm the materials. Tarps are used to keep snow and ice off any materials stored outside the tented area.
These measures help us to build your outdoor oasis with quality products even through the colder months. If you're thinking about enhancing your outdoor space, contact us to get started with the planning of your new deck, gazebo, or combination of the two.
